Everyone will try the same wines on the evening. You will rate the wines, and our calculator will let us know whose score you were most closely aligned to overall.

This is subjective on your palate and there being someone there with the same taste as you! You may be matched with many, you may be matched with none. However you are guaranteed to have a fun evening, drink some wine, learn a little about wine and you may even make a connection on the evening.

A refund is given for cancellations made more than seven days before the event (less booking fees). If you cannot attend on the evening we will try to transfer your ticket to another event where possible.

Our dating events specify an age range on the event. Our friendship events are for all ages, over the legal drinking age.

No. For dating events the tables will be made up of male/female guests. The tables will change guests for each wine. This allows everyone to get to know everyone. We are all one family on the evening.

First Glass Wine Events do not sell wine. However many of our venues are also wine shops, and should you want to purchase any of the fantastic wine tasted you will be able to do so at your leisure.

We encourage people to come alone to meet others, and be truly open to making new connections. However if you feel more comfortable booking with a friend that is no problem! Please be mindful there will be points in the evening you may get sat on a different table.

Our hosts are all qualified wine professionals who work in the industry. They love people, they love energy, the love connections.

No! None at all. You just need to be able to drink wine.
