Many of Kirsty's friendships and relationships were formed over a bottle of wine. In her late 20s she discovered wine school, earned her WSET Diploma, and went on to make her own wine in Rioja after winning the Ramon Bilbao Spanish Wine Master Competition in 2023. She works as a wine judge, wine writer and event host and loves bringing people together over a mutual interest - wine! And thus, First Glass wine events was born ...

Jenni’s love of wine stemmed from her passion for travel and wine experiences. After completing her MSc in Viticulture & Oenology, Jenni planted a micro-vineyard and is preparing for her first vintage in 2025. When not found in her vineyard, Jenni loves sharing her wine knowledge and getting people excited about the wine- from grapes to glass.

Ellie swapped a career in finance for wine and set up her consultancy, Amante Wine, in 2021. Ellie writes about wine, hosts tastings and works as a brand ambassador. An active member of a number of tasting and networking groups, Ellie loves connecting people with both wines and other people!

Janina presents the addictive Eat Sleep Wine Repeat podcast which has been featured in Radio Times and Decanter. She has worked as Head Sommelier in some of London's top restaurants and as a Brand Ambassador for premium wineries, including the acclaimed English wine estate Balfour Winery. She holds the WSET Diploma and through her company, Eat Sleep Wine Repeat, she shares her knowledge via masterclasses for industry professionals.

TV Broadcaster, wine lover and wine traveller Shehnaz has visited over 500 vineyards across 5 continents to bring us the informative 'The A-Z of Wine with Shehnaz' Wine TV series. Her travels include vineyards in Lebanon, Argentina, Croatia, Greece and countless more. Shehnaz firmly believes wine is for everyone, and recommends the key is to keep an open mind and try more wine, as this curiousity is often rewarded.

Food and wine are Elizabeth's passions, and she has her finger on the pulse with Londons latest trends and vibrant, no-res hotspots. She has extensive experience in the wine trade and set up her successful business Elizabeth & Wine six years ago, creating unique wine experiences that transform client/team relationships and provide memories for years to come. Elizabeth strives to help everyone understand at least one more thing about wine and buy wine more confidently in shops and restaurants.
